Now, as a preface, I want to tell you that my critiques are honest, possibly to the point of brutality. But the fact that I am writing a critique in itself shows that I really adore this picture. Not only do I respect your willingness to experiment with different media, but your entire gallery bursts with creativity as you use line, shape, and color wonderfully. For the most part, this one is no different, that your characters are charming, and the gentle swirls in your line work certainly leads the mind to think about the plumes of smoke and fumes that float around in a laboratory. Furthermore, your characters both have excellent facial expressions, showing their intentions, and to an extent, their personalities.

Your vision here is excellent, and the details shown are not too much for the eye to take in, yet they keep the viewer interested.

As for originality, although I have seen lab themes before on this website, I've never seen it combined so well with different garb, such as the clothing the two characters here are wearing.

As for technique, this is your first time working with these inks? I find that very impressive, you are quite good at it, though not perfect.

What minimizes the impact here is that the space to the bottom left feels rather empty, like it should be filled, seeing as how the other three quarters of the space here have subject matter.

That being said, I continue to love what you do with pattern and line. Your style is shapely and fun.
