It's nice that you added that village or town to show a size comparison- I don't know if I would have realized how big this giant is!
Hm...I like the pencil shading over the various areas of the piece, but particularly on his back and hands. The texturing is so simple but rich so the piece doesn't feel bogged down by the detail.
I really like the green forest parts on the giant- it looks like a lion's mane by his head.
His back is also very nice- it makes me think of the cliffs of Dover.
