yes it looks like childhood illustration... But really good one! and it is not so common!

aaw. I for one really like that childbook look of yours! It's so warm and lovely <3

But I know the feeling of getting tired of drawing in a similar style all the time.
If I've been drawing cute stuff I have to take a break and draw something gritty. And if I've been drawing really simple I have to try my hands at something more complex. But I usually come back to my "core" after a few drawings
I think it's an important part of improvement.

Anyways. The colours work really well in this picure. I love the autumn window and the pattern of the grey/green shirt.

thanks you for this comment...yop...i think its same in my drawing style...sometimes i look to my gallery here and i feel like im still drawing cute-chilldish stuff ^^; ....hmm...i think ill try drawing illustration for some serious book next time (hmmm...maybe for Name of rose of something like this ...)

It's fun and good practice to do different things, so I say go ahead!

(as long as you don't feel like you "have to" draw serious if you dont want to - your style is so lovely as it is!)

if youd like to try some realism, go ahead, but the childlikeness of your art is the reason youre one of my favorites! dont give it up just because of its greatest strength c:
